A 2001 graduate of University College Cork in Electrical/Electronic Engineering I have been working for over 6 years as an Embedded Software Engineer.
After graduation I worked with Motorola in Cork, Ireland as a software and systems engineer. For about 4 years I worked on the RTOS (real time operating system) and call processing functions of their GSM Base Station System. During my last year at Motorola I worked as a Senior Systems Engineer on a WiMAX High-Tier Element Management System (EMS).
I finished up with Motorola in the summer of 2006 to return to embedded development and worked for Global Mobile Encryption for a 16 moth spell.
Currently I work with Silicon & Software Systems in consumer home products.
